Volunteers are an integral part of our day-to-day functioning, and without them we would not be where we are today.
Our volunteers have been involved in many community projects over the years, from the making of movies to meeting the Queen. A typical response from our volunteers is that along with their interest in aviation, the camaraderie and friendships they make here are an important part of the experience.
Here are just a few of the volunteer positions we offer:
Make our visitors feel welcome! Volunteer as a greeter, tour guide, work in our Windsock Gift Shop, or host a birthday party.
Greeting visitors, providing an orientation to the Museum and collecting admission fees. Shifts are three hours in duration and available seven days a week. Tours are also scheduled by special appointment.
Point of sale cash register, merchandise pricing and display management. Shifts are three hours in duration and available seven days a week.
Canteen, parking, fundraising – if you can’t help on a regular basis, but are willing to help occasionally, let us know what your interests and skills are!
