Harvard

  • Volunteer Bob McCreadie works on the wiring for the Harvard.

    Harvard was an advanced trainer for pilots who would go on to fly the Mustang, Spitfire, or Hurricane. This aircraft was made by Canada Car & Foundry and its restoration is currently 75% complete.

    2010 Update

    The project continues as we work on the instrument and electrical systems. Although the restoration lacks numerous parts, such as the engine cowlings, a propeller, and several smaller parts, the work goes on. Progress is being made but much of it is unseen to the untrained eye.

    2011 Update

    Progress on the Harvard has been slow in the past year due to health problems of Bob McCreadie, but he is making some progress on the electrical wiring.
